RESIDE

Short-term rentals

Villas and residences for a specific set of dates.

A short stay is planned around what the guests actually want to do - the beach, a private table, the day on the water, quiet mornings.

The residence is one part of a coordinated stay. Transfers, chef, provisioning and any additional support are arranged around it, from a single point of contact.

Marbella, Nueva Andalucía, Sierra Blanca, Sotogrande and the New Golden Mile.

  • Defined dates

Availability confirmed privately before it is discussed openly.

A stay, not a booking

A short-term rental on the Costa del Sol is rarely just a set of dates in a calendar. It is a defined visit - a family holiday, a milestone celebration, a working stay - and the residence is chosen around what that visit is actually for, rather than filtered by bedroom count alone.

The conversation starts with the dates and the people: how many, who they are, what the days are meant to look like. A quiet villa for a family that wants the beach and early nights reads very differently to a residence chosen for entertaining.

Planning around the guests

Once the shape of the stay is understood, the office proposes residences privately and in small numbers - never a long list to filter through. Location matters as much as the property itself: proximity to the beach, to Puerto Banús, to a quiet stretch of Sotograda or the New Golden Mile, or simply distance from the road.

Terms are always confirmed with the owner before anything is discussed with the guest - dates, price, what is included and any house rules - so that what is proposed is genuinely available on those dates.

The residence as part of a coordinated stay

The property itself is one part of a wider arrangement. Where wanted, the office coordinates transfers, a private chef, provisioning before arrival, household staff and any additional support the stay requires - all arranged around the property rather than booked separately by the guest.

Throughout the stay, one point of contact at Cavalma is available to resolve anything that comes up, rather than the guest having to deal separately with an owner, a cleaner and a booking platform.

Seasonality on the Costa del Sol

Demand and mood shift through the year here - a lively summer around Puerto Banús and the beach clubs, a quieter and often more sought-after spring and autumn, and a winter that suits longer, calmer stays. The office is candid about how the season affects both availability and the character of a stay, rather than presenting every month as interchangeable.

What Cavalma needs to begin

Approximate dates, the size of the party and a sense of what matters most to the stay - quiet, entertaining space, proximity to specific places - are enough for the office to begin a private search and confirm real availability directly with owners.

QUESTIONS
How far in advance should I enquire?
As soon as dates are reasonably firm. Availability for well-placed residences narrows earlier in the busier months, and confirming terms with the owner takes time.
Can you arrange things beyond the property itself?
Yes - transfers, a private chef, provisioning, household staff and other support can be coordinated around the stay, through the same point of contact.
Is availability guaranteed before I make plans?
Availability is always confirmed directly with the owner before it is presented to you, but it is not held indefinitely - dates should be confirmed once you are ready to proceed.
Does the season affect what is available?
Yes, considerably. The office will be direct about what a given season means for choice and pricing, rather than presenting the market as constant year-round.
